 From the moment you walk through the door
of Riad Jonan you will realize that you have entered an oasis of
calm and tranquillity. The Riad is complemented with hand made
furniture from the craftsmen of the Medina with designs and ideas from
the English owners.
Riad Jonan offers a wealth of comforts
created with Beautiful handmade Rugs, fabrics and drapes that
transports you back in time to the days of the Sultans and Arabian
knights.
The entrance hall opens into the pretty
courtyard with hand laid terracotta tiled floors, mosaic tiled
fountain, trees and flowering plants, one of the areas where breakfast
can be taken.
The ground floor houses two of the bedrooms
that tend to be cooler in the warmer months. Also on the ground floor
is the salon with comfortable seating and an Arabian style open
fireplace, a small dining area for cosy evening meals in the cooler
months, satellite television, English speaking channels and music
system. A great place to catch up on reading your guides to Marrakech.
The Kitchen is also on the ground floor where all your culinary
requirements will be catered for.
 The first floor comprises four more bedrooms
all en-suite and with heating and Air-conditioning. All the rooms
overlook the courtyard and fountain. From this level is the blue Domed
stairwell that leads to the roof terrace. The roof terrace is another place where you may take
breakfast or other refreshments.
Ample sun loungers allow you to soak
up the sun in your own private solarium surrounded by terracotta pots
filled with palms and Bougainvillea, a haven in itself. Staff are
always on hand to prepare snacks, light refreshments.
Riad Jonan has now
installed WI FI for use with your own Laptop.
As the owners live on site, there are five bedrooms
for guests. three Superior and two Standard
